1980s ESCADA PEACH SILK-WOOL MIX SKIRT SUIT (S-M)
Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley founded Escada in 1976 in Germany as a high-end knitted sportswear brand, before branching out into women's separates and evening wear. Throughout the 1980s, they expanded until they were considered to be one of the largest fashion companies in the world. Margaretha Ley, the primary designer for the label, died in 1992.
A vintage 1980s designer skirt suit by Escada (Margaretha Ley) with gold metal shell-shaped buttons.
Consists of an oversized double-breasted jacket and a high-waisted fitted skirt. Fully lined in monogrammed peach acetate lining.
Luxurious, lightweight woven fabric without stretch.
50% virgin wool, 25% silk, 25% rayon. Dry clean only.
Made in Germany.
Please note: the interior button on the jacket became detached during shooting hence why the jacket doesn't sit straight in the images. This has now been fixed and the jacket hangs beautifully.
